A chill and hippie easter

April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.

This morning I woke up early and got ready for Easter brunch with my family. I made my daughter an Easter treasure hunt based upon TS Eliot’s The Waste Land, and filled her basket with cute Dr. Who and Hello Kitty items… only to find that she was disappointed by her basket. “No jelly beans,” she said sadly. So much for comparative mythology, right? In honor of the day I dug out one of my favorite old plushes from Katat0nik, this catty-bunny doll. She also has a group gift bunny necklace this year, but it’s hidden under my hippie shawl. Go find it in her group notices!

My shirt is new from Plastik, and it totally matches this great new hippie skirt from Trinite. Happy Rebirth of the new king!
