Ekaterina by Silver Rose Designs

I gasped when I saw the pricetag (900L) on the new Silver Rose Designs Ekaterina dress. Then I realized that the dress earns every cent (and more) of the cost… There are 30 pieces in the outfit folder. It has so many options for sleeve, bodice, and skirt that it'll take your avatar to Gor, Caledon, The Deck, Hard Alley, and beyond… The workmanship isn't skimped either. I love the quality of the prims and fabric, and think that each style of dress works really well in itself. I haven't shown all of the options in these photos, either -- there are at least a few skirt styles that I didn't photo.

My favorite is probably the long babydoll -- such a unique and adorable idea for the skirt, and balanced out by the fluff of the sleeves. I'd buy this to spoil a new avatar and have them go nuts with the options! The creator also treats her group to wonderful items, and the cost of the outfit is a small price to pay for such loyalty. I am an unbeliever who has a nostalgia for a belief

This is a skin and tattoo review. I suppose. I'm honestly kind of over big skin reviews in which the reviewer posts picture after picture of themselves in someone's skin line… Yep, I used to do that all the time. Now I just think: damn, so that's how one particular avatar looks in all those skins. I love you all. I just don't find the reviews very useful, and would rather see how a blogger styles up one skin rather than, y'know, so many that the skins and makeups become a blur.

So. This skin is a unisex-makeup skin from Ugly Duck, the Kala. The nether bits are clearly suited toward the different genders, but the face suits boyish girls and girlish boys (and people who don't like a lot of makeup on their faces). I'm wearing it with a new tattoo from La Malvada Mujer -- a small meditation upon Pasolini. I love you two, Faina and Bliss. Come have my prim babies. A few days ago I saw that Mocha had some kind of free item. I teleported to what I THOUGHT was the Mocha main store…and encountered a cute little summer festival instead. There are Gatcha machines…oh so addictive. Jackal and I took a picture in our Gatcha animal hair over here. Ringing the little gatcha area are shops. One of them, Euclid, had these pants - ! They were so neat that I called in a few likely suspects to buy 'em with me. (Also notable, my high-lacing sneakers from another shop in this ring, Amaama.)

Wicked game

Faina and Bliss opened up a tattoo parlor named La Malvada Mujer, or The Wicked Women. Suits those two troublemakers to a T, and I'm incredibly proud to sport their cabalistic designs on my skin. Faina is an awesome artist to begin with, and her taste is dark and quirky and cool.

Funny story about this tattoo… Last week I had a long conversation with one of my coworkers about how he'd like a tattoo of Jesus on his upper arm, just like a certain famous boxer. "Unique and interesting," I thought. And now, in a fit of Jungian synchronicity, I've got one too. I guess mystical symbols are synchronous like that.

Once upon a time Lucius said something pretty wise. "Style doesn't depend upon money," he said.
