Of mice and mecha

I'm honor-bound to go to Disney today with my daughter. I'm pretty ambivalent about Disney -- on the one hand, it's the mecca of all things pink and princessy, a definite plus in my daughter's book. On the other hand, it's full of weird brand indoctrination that I'm not sure how we can escape. That, plus tourists like us. And I know we'll be singing "It's a small world" for the rest of the month... I wonder if I should implant her with a UPS device in case she gets lost? I hear this can be done, now. (I'm joking.)

In the spirit of Disney, I offer this mecha-steampunk-girl. She's ready to cavort in the hidden labyrinth beneath Disney with her guns blazing and her boots stomping...or something. I'm in a dress by Plastik that has been blogged by Uma over here, and a helmet by Fade Dana that has been blogged by Mourna over here. They both look teh awesome! I put my ensemble together with a watermelon hunt giftie from Tigerclaw -- if you haven't been to this store yet, do check it out. The gift consists of two big mecha hands (I'm wearing one) and that description-defying backpack. Come get some! (SLURL to Tigerclaw), (SLURL to Hat Mechanic), (SLURL to Plastik).
