This is the last outfit in my five outfit series about Falln. It's been lovely to wear and write about these clothes. In a way, putting on clothes is like costuming my avatar to be and feel a certain way, and when I'm in one designer's clothes for five days in a row (with small breaks to fish), it's like I'm walking around in part of the designer's mind.
Actually, that must be how sim builders feel when they create a land, and then see other people walk around in the corporeal manifestations of their imagination. It must be a bit like playing god, which...I guess...is what we do in SL. We make our own water and land, birds and beasts and trees, and then we populate it. No wonder people like Second Life, eh? It's a tiny place where we can touch upon the joy of creation.
...Back to clothing, right? This outfit neatly spans the aesthetic that I saw in the first few I wore, combining gothic elements and Asian ones to create a half-silk, half-vinyl lolita kimono. There's a cute option as well as a dead sexy option, and the look is exotic enough that I had to don my drow skin and horns for it. Who have I been in these clothes? I...actually had aural synesthesia for these outfits. I kept smelling sandalwood and jasmine, as if I were sitting in my Khuntah's Buddha nook in Thailand, basking in the peace of his daily meditation. Maybe these clothes spoke to my own divided self, halfway between east and west.
