When I was a young Second Life Miss in Caledon, I was always struck by this conundrum: I had gorgeous little boots from Lassitude and Ennui, but nobody could see them because they were trapped beneath folds and folds of prim fabric! I used to walk around barefoot, because why bother?
The Caelia frock from Falln (post four) neatly solves that dilemma. It's got a saucy version of the prim skirt with a front panel cut out of it, for the purpose of showing off your shoes! Okay, perhaps that's not the real reason for the panel, but it's my reason for wearing it. The outfit is set off by Falln's boots (they remind me quite a bit of Fluevogs) and jewelry from Little Boy Blue. I really love the merskeleton necklace -- it's cheeky and macabre and delicate. The Caelia comes with many options, some shown here, and I note that the slightly gaping corset really suits Schadenfreude's Elsa skin. Isn't this skin neat? I'd never thought of surgical incisions as sexy before, but they really do add a certain Frankensteiniean glamor to the paleness of the skin. By rights I should have milky dead eyes to go with it, but...hm, perhaps for Halloween.
Today's post is brought to you by the song Super Trooper. My daughter had me play it seven times in a row while driving her to school.
