Neferia posted about her big, pretty Aurelia frock, and I immediately had to have it. While chatting with Neferia about the gown she mentioned shyly that this was her first 16th century frock. She said she'd made a special skirt script just for this one, and that she'd be making more dresses in this vein in the future. Excellent!
I put it on and felt like a gorgeous marzipan. Then, I went to the Versailles sim and felt right at home with all the other confections. Amazing how context is everything -- it's something I've mentioned here before, that SL provides a context for anything you want to do, be or wear...

Later in the night I chatted with Rosemary Galbraith. She's opening up a new shop next week, and slipped me a preview skin. It's her usual elegantly done makeup but with a luscious dark lip color. I'm not wearing it right now -- I'll put it on next week when her store opens. It's lovely like her other skins, and I can't wait for her to open up a new shop.
"I knew you'd like this color," Rosemary said gleefully. "You wear reds, blacks, and neutrals."
"You have me pegged," I said sheepishly.
Fine. I've gotta break out of this school colors scheme. If you feel like commenting with a color, I'll attempt to build an outfit around that color tomorrow.
