Hippie hippie shake

I notice that people are wearing hippie shirts and dresses this SL season. This is my own contribution to the trend, a purplish one by a Brazilian designer housed at the Rahz Store. I must be super-short, because the prims took some adjusting, and I'd actually love some glitch pants under this so that my skin doesn't flash, but I like the floatiness and I feel almost hippie today!

The purple hippie thing goes well with Winter Moon's amazingly cute free Another Skin mod -- minimal lipstick (rare for me), freckles and purple eyeshadow. (Can you imagine wearing as much makeup as we wear here IRL? I'd be doing nothing but staring at my face.) It also goes with Shop Seu's fabulous ponytails. These ponytails wouldn't be out of place at a Phish concert, man, although hippie twirling is right out. If you spun too quickly, the hair could strangle you like a hentai octopus!

Speaking of hentai tentacle rape, I have a rather tough deadline today and I'll spare you my usual blather. Wish me luck, okay? It's my dissertation prospectus, and I feel pretty over my head...

I've really been loving the hippie shirts and dresses I've seen floating around the grid and I especially love it in this rich plum colour.
Great new look!

I really like the way you paired the SP armwarmers up with it too. Very nice touch!

*grin* it is a pretty shape! I like it too. I warned everyone that the prims will need fitting, and to wear something under it, right? Cool :D

You might want to inspect all the prims and the creator of the dress layer. Then decide about whether you still want to share the dress with everyone.

Dee, thanks for the comment. I like the dress despite the two issues I had with it, which is why I posted. Cheers!

I love this look, the dress looks great on you, so worth the prim hassles xd

Dee, you mean, it's a Brazilian store that, erm, has copyright issues? I think you're not talking problems adjusting prims here, right?

I mean that the store is a little suspicious, the tunic dress has two separate creators and is named .::SM::. Aztec Jewel Tunic. SM is not where the dress was purchased and neither of the creators is RahzinhaA Pera (owner of Rahz Store), RahzinhaA is also who the payment went to.
Since none of the owners, designers, or creators responded when I asked about it, it is just suspicious. I am not in any way pointing fingers or saying thief!, just suggesting you look a little closer at your purchases from Rahz Store.

Thanks for the clarification (the person you responded too was Alyx).

Rahz isn't the designer and never claimed to be. Her store (according to her press release) represents "the best of Brazilian design" -- not her own design. She's the shop owner, and her friends are represented in the store.

I am not sure what to say about the top and bottom parts of that having two owners. You can ask Rahz yourself -- her English is better than my Portuguese, but not by much, just to warn you!

Thanks again for the second look at this stuff. You know me -- I take everything at face value in a far too sunny kind of way. :D
